Working alongside the Master Builder of Supreme House of the Year

We’re proud to share that one of our recent projects, in collaboration with Joe Vevin of Vevin Building, was awarded Supreme House of the Year at the 2025 Master Builders Southern Awards.

Built on the edge of Lake Wakatipu, this home is not only a stunning architectural achievement but a testament to what’s possible when every trade brings their best. While the award was officially received by the builder, accolades like this reflect the standard of everyone involved — and we’re honoured to have played a part.

Behind the Build:

• Builder: Joe Vevin, Vevin Building - a young builder with an eye for precision, known for his uncompromising standards and attention to detail.

• Design: Kerr Ritchie Architects, with interiors thoughtfully crafted by the homeowners themselves.

• Craftsmanship: A hand-picked team of some of the region’s finest artisans brought this project to life.

• Our Role: Clayton Gibson Concepts was responsible for all painting and decorating, including timber coating using premium OSMO Polyx-Oils — a finish that not only protects but enhances the natural beauty of the timber cladding.

Now complete, the home stands out as a landmark on Lake Wakatipu’s shoreline - a blend of bold design and timeless craftsmanship, set against one of the most iconic landscapes in the world.
